Parakeets in London

This year the number of parakeets in west London seems to have rocketed. They are noisy buggers, and fly past our window here at db house every 20 minutes or so.

Surprisingly, these vivid green birds have been in and around London for about 30 years, originally hailing from the foothills of the Himalayas. Link
