They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

Three more NATO soldiers* were killed in southern Afghanistan on Thursday in the latest in a series of attacks that killed a Canadian earlier in the day, the alliance said in a statement.

Six other soldiers were wounded in the attack using rocket-propelled grenades, hours after the Canadian soldier was killed and four more wounded in two separate roadside bombings in the same area.

At least 21 Afghan civilians were also killed in a suicide car bombing aimed at a NATO patrol nearby late in the day, local officials said. Link
