Plea for Britons shot in Gaza

telegraph: The families of two Britons shot dead by Israeli soldiers in the Gaza strip have asked the Attorney General to bring the military personnel responsible for the deaths to justice.

Lord Goldsmith said he would consider prosecuting an Israeli soldier who shot dead cameraman James Miller in the Gaza Strip in 2003.

Mr Miller's family want to prosecute the soldier for a war crime under Section 1 of the Geneva Conventions Act.

Last month an inquest jury in London decided the shooting was unlawful and that the father of two had been murdered. Read more
