They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

Iraq: 62% Americans say war not worth fighting

UPI: The war in Iraq has dragged U.S. President George Bush's overall approval rating to a record low of 33 percent in an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Bush's disapproval rating has hit a high of 65 percent. The numbers now match Bush's father's low in August 1992, the summer before he lost re-election.

The poll suggested the war in Iraq was dragging the president's popularity down, as 62 percent of respondents say the war was not worth fighting and 59 percent said the war was a mistake in the first place. Link
