They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

Deficient Brain salutes the Metropolitan Police

db would like to draw attention to the courage of the dozen Metropolitan Police officers who took on that greatest of threats to Parliament, Britain and The West - Mr Brian Haw - and removed placards from the demonstration site 'as per conditions related to size and supervision imposed in relation to notice to demonstrate under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act - SOCPA (2005)'. The calm and decisive manner in which as yet unidentified cuntstables dealt with this highly dangerous person prevented a tragedy from occurring. Their professionalism, despite the obvious risk to their personal safety, ensured that the incident ended without injury to any members of the public or to themselves. Their sense of duty, respect for others and willingness to subordinate their personal safety to fellow officers and citizens provide the clearest example of the values that make China America Britain and its public servants so great.
