No U.S. guarantee against attack whatever Iran does

db: And ap refers to Iran as the 'hard-line government'! Why would the Americans refuse a security guarantee on the basis of Iran curtailing its nuclear program? The last thing the U.S. wants right now is an agreeable Iran - it's a policy of regime change - come what may.
