Capita - Labour funder - 'won' £143 million gov contracts

The Home Office has placed more than £143m worth of contracts in the last three years with the controversial outsourcing group Capita, it was revealed. Home Office minister Liam Byrne revealed that the figure was £35.6m in 2003-4, £60.3m in 2004-5 and £47.7m in 2005-6. Link

db: I still can't see why Aldridge had to quit, whilst Blair is still in place - still going on about 'law and order' and the need for tougher sentencing. Aldridge clearly boosted his company share value considerably - is that not his job? Blair, on the other hand, has caused the share value of Neo-Labour to tank.
