Hamas chief hails Iran support

albawaba: Hamas' Political Bureau chief Khaled Mashaal here Wednesday hailed the support of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, government and nation to the Islamic resistance movement.

According to Irna, he made the remarks while talking to reporters after a meeting with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani. He urged Arab and Islamic nations not to forget the Palestinian nation and to continue their support for them.

The United States and other countries have frozen their financial assistance to the Palestinians, but the Islamic nations and Iran have pledged continuing support for the Palestinian nation. Mashaal said the Palestinian nation would remain faithful to Islamic nations.

Meanwhile, Iran's state radio reported Tehran offered Wednesday to help finance the Palestinian Authority run by the Hamas. Link
