Blairites advise Brown to be 'absolutely Blairite' shock

observer: Gordon Brown received a stark warning last night that his long quest to become Labour leader and Prime Minister is at risk from the rising star of Alan Johnson, the Education Secretary.

The message came from two of Tony Blair's most senior allies, who told The Observer that in order to retain his frontrunner status the Chancellor would have to show a modern, 'absolutely Blairite, New Labour' face. Read more
