Iran sends complaint to UN about US

dw-world: The Iranian leadership has lodged a complaint with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan denouncing a perceived US threat to launch a military attack. In a letter to Annan, Iran's UN ambassador Javad Zarif says comments made by President George W. Bush and other senior administration officials regarding a military option were illegal and posed a threat. Several US publications have claimed that the White House is planning a bombing campaign against Iran if it fails to halt its nuclear enrichment activities. Tehran says its nuclear research is for peaceful purposes only. Link
