New Orleans Poor: "How do we make our voices heard?"
This Biloxi survivor accuses the rich of not caring
and asks us the question above. Did the USA hear her
voice on Fox? CNN? MSNBC? etc.

db: If you can watch this - and the others - and not feel something on behalf of the poor in America - then you should see a doctor.
The US system allowed this to unfold in the way that it did. People like Bush just turn the screw a little tighter. Are the Democrats going to change anything? People need to wake up.
Bush references the lack of 'democracy' in the middle east as a noble cause for Americans to die for [excluding his own ] but is that democracy in action that we see in New Orleans? Does the world really want that shit?
My guess is that the USA is not the right reference to use when seeking to sell Democracy. You would make a better case if you looked towards Venezuela and Hugo Chavez's redistibution of oil-wealth - the majority of the population wanted it to happen and it happened. More schools, more universities, more hospitals. Try talking 'wealth redistribution' in America and the Sleaders [SleazyLeaders**] are going to be calling for your assassination. Because the last thing that they want is an educated underclass or a drug-free healthy one.
