Iraq: Civilian death toll in Basra reaches five after UK attack

Two Iraqi citizens who were wounded in clashes between British forces and Iraqi police in the southern city of Basra have died in hospital, raising the civilian death toll to five.

The fighting occurred on Monday when British forces stormed a Basra jail to free two British soldiers who had been arrested by Basra police. Read more
