Afghanistan: NATO precision attack kills baby, wounds five

NATO today fired artillery rounds killing a baby and wounding five civilians in Afghanistan's Eastern province of Kunar, the alliance said in a statement. It said the fire was targeted at insurgents, but two of the rounds fell short, killing the baby and injuring the three women and two boys. Anger has risen in Afghanistan over civilian deaths caused by foreign forces hunting the Taliban. Three Afghan policemen were wounded by NATO helicopter fire in a separate incident in a Southern district on Friday. Link
