They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

Israeli TV News v Palestine TV News

We are big fans of Mosaic LinkTV - they offer streams of the previous day's TV news from the Middle East sourced from a number of government and independent providers - with English translation. As well as the obvious insights into how Middle East reports differ from our own domestic TV there are notable differences in the way events are reported within the region. As you would expect, Palestine TV and Israeli TV offer starkly different coverage. This link will take you to LinkTV - click 'watch episode' and the first two stories will be those below which cover Friday's events in Palestine - first via Palestine TV then IBA from Israel.

Story 1: Israel Continues Attack on Gaza and West Bank
Palestine TV, Ramallah

Story 2: Israel strikes a Car Transporting A Missile
IBA TV, Israel
