They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

Blair sleaze: "Broke no rules" [that matter]

Tony Blair said today he believed nobody in the Labour Party had broken the rules on party funding.

Asked about 'cash for peerages' allegations, the Prime Minister told the BBC that political parties had to raise money.

He said: "Now it's important that they raise it according to the rules and I don't believe incidentally that anybody in the Labour Party has broken the rules in relation to this. Link

db: That it has come to this! The great leader claims they "broke no rules". I put "broke no rules"into google and there were 12,100 hits - a good proportion of them related to crooks, liars and conmen - much like the British PM. I also did an image search - only four hits - but surprise, one of them was a post from deficient brain. It was of an injured and unarmed Iraqi insurgent being shot dead by a Marine as he lay inside a Mosque located in Fallujah - the Marine also "broke no rules" - his actions were judged "consistent with the established rules of engagement and the law of armed conflict."
