daralhayat: Russia is not Estonia, Poland, Spain, or even France or China. It is true that its prestige during the prime time of the Soviets has now subsided, broken up and threatened with extinction by the coup de grace in the face of the American globalization invasion.

Putin has a strong desire to take revenge on the fierce American campaign against his democracy and reforms, which took him by surprise while the Kremlin was haggling over the Iranian nuclear file to sell the Americans a diplomatic hard-line position toward Tehran in the hope that Washington would accept a political exit from the crisis.

He was overtaken by the American 'wolf' that accepts no less than full Russian submission to the will of the White House, and the neoconservatives' plans to repeat the Iraqi scenario with the Khamenei-Nejad republic. Read more
