They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

More Blair 'expenses' milking - so what?

Prime Minister Tony Blair's party shrugged off reports on Friday that his wife billed it nearly 8,000 pounds for a hairstylist during last year's general election.

Newspapers had a field day over reports that Cherie Blair had cost the party's campaign fund 275 pounds a day for the full-time services of a French stylist from a trendy London salon for a month.

Other Labour party members of parliament complained that her hairstyling bill was more than they had spent on their entire campaigns. But Blair's party said it was money well spent.

"So what?" a Labour party spokesman said. "Mrs Blair worked fantastically hard during the election and visited more than 50 constituencies during the campaign. She is enormously popular with the party, and don't forget, we won the election." Read more

db: Cherie Blair is not all bad - she can't be - her dad is Tony Booth. I hope Tony has had a word. His daughter, like her despicable husband, is milking her expenses. These people are not Labour - but Neo-Labour.

Yes in a way the story is trivial. However it is interesting up to a point in that it serves as further evidence of the sad fact that the Blairs have utterly lost it. That is, if they ever had it to begin with.

Also, who was the Neo-Labour shit who said 'so what'? He or she may care to ask that of the old lady who misguidedly donated a fiver to what she mistook for the Labour Party from her pension.
