Jean Charles De Menezes Family Campaign
There are three events that the campaign has organised that we would like you to come and support - the first is happening tomorrow!:
1) Service dedicated for Jean Charles' Birthday : Saturday 7th January
To commemorate the 28th Birthday of Jean Charles, the Family of Jean Charles will attend a special Memorial Mass at 7pm on Saturday 7 January at St Anne's Church, Underwood Road, London E1 5AW.
The service is welcome to all friends, the Brazilian community and supporters of the family's campaign for justice.
Many apologies for the short notice but we hope you can make it.
2) Campaign Organising Meeting : Wednesday 11th January, 7pm
The meeting will be at 7pm:

We need your help at this important time as we are planning events for the 6-month commemoration of Jean's death on January 22nd. The IPCC will deliver their report to the Crown Prosecution Service at the end of January and they are continuing the inquiry into the conduct of Ian Blair following Jean's death. We need to keep Jean's case in the public eye and keep up the pressure for justice to be done.
There are opportunities to get involved with event planning, the website, fundraising, community liaison and the up-keep of the shrine at stockwell tube.
3) Vigil to mark 6-month Commemoration Of Jean Charles' Death, Sunday January 22nd, 9:30am
On Sunday 22nd January at 9:30am, the family will visit Stockwell station to commemorate the six-month anniversary of Jean Charles' death.
We invite all supporters of the campaign to show their solidarity by coming to stockwell tube to lay flowers and pay their respects. I know its early but please come - its essential that we show the world's media that Jean has not been forgotten.
