Blair's Neo-Labour still ahead in the polls

Angus Reid Global Scan: The governing Labour party remains the most popular political organization in Britain, according to a poll by Populus published in The Times. 39 per cent of respondents would vote for Labour in the next election to the House of Commons.

The Conservative party is second with 36 per cent, followed by the Liberal Democrats with 16 per cent. Nine per cent of respondents would vote for other parties. Support for both Labour and the Tories increased by one point since December, while backing for the Lib-Dems fell by three points. Read more

It's no surprise that the Liberal Democrats have taken a tumble, but to see Blair even now enjoying a 3 point lead over the Tories is incredible. Would we prefer to see the Conservative Party ahead - readying themselves maybe for what could end up being ten years in power or more? With all that means concerning the welfare of the poor, security of the NHS, fairness in schooling, social policy, taxation etc., etc? You bet. Blair must go - and with him neoLabour - who should be punished for allowing themselves to be dragged into Blair's discredited, ongoing, neocon war. Fuck Gordon Brown too - for he is no 'innocent man'.
