They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. I mean, they're able to kind of say to people: Don't come and bother us, because we will kill you. Bush - Joint News Conference with Blair - 28 July '06

They hate us because we stand for what they don't believe in

There's an enemy. We have got to see the world the way it is, not the way we'd like it to be. There is an enemy -- there is an enemy which hates America. They hate us because we stand for what they don't believe in. We believe in freedom. We believe in the freedom for people to worship any way they want in the United States of America.

Another great quote from Bush's recent speech in Minnesota

Also this sounds a bit of a worry: "And we face an enemy that has got an ideology and a strategy and a tactical plan to achieve their strategy."
