They just got a different tool to use than we do: They kill innocent lives to achieve objectives. That's what they do. And they're good. They get on the TV screens and they get people to ask questions about, well, you know, this, that or the other. Smacking - tastes too good to ban!

As the British House of Commons prepares to reject a total ban on "smacking" children, the mood in Westminster is that of compromise. As an alternative to a total ban on all forms of violence against children, it is proposed that, where local conditions demand it, licensed and organised floggings may be approved, on a case by case basis.

Deficient Brain sees this as workable. Although parents with a taste for meeting out their own justice may feel betrayed.
